  2.  Tagging files is one of the most used features in Terminate. It will save
  3.  you hundreds of small little notes and allow you to start downloading files
  4.  faster. The Alt-F5 filetagger will try to identify all possible filenames
  5.  on screen, then, when you move the cursor up or down, the menubar will jump
  6.  to the next file it has identified.
  7.

  12.  ^b-^n              Untag all
  13.  ^b*^n              Tagged files gets untagged and untagged gets tagged (inverse)

  27.  When you press escape all tagged files are saved and can now be reached from
  28.  the tag menu. You can also check an entire file list quickly and then
  29.  scrollback with ^bAlt-B^n and tag files from there. Remember that no online
  30.  remote tagger will react as quickly as doing the tagging locally.

  35.   menu from Alt-F6 (download) or Alt-F7 and filerequest.

  63.   The 'Tagged files' indicates the total of tagged entries.
  64.   The 'Tagged from:' will show on which system you tagged the file. If you
  65.   change phonebooks it will not show the correct system. The phonebook has
  66.   to be loaded to see where you have tagged the files. Call a system or
  67.   press Alt-D, Esc to load the phonebook.

  71.   Edit any tag file with the external editor. If you have called a system,
  72.   Terminate will suggest a filename that looks like the system name, but
  73.   actually you can edit any file from here.

  77.   Clean the screen and throw away all files that you have tagged.

  81.   When you send the filename back with one of the functions here, you can
  82.   clean up the screen. This is useful if you have tagged 50 or more files
  83.   and have collected the first 10.

  87.   Load any textfile into the tag menu. The first word will be grabbed
  88.   from each line.

  92.   If you suddenly need to save the tagged files. Lets say you are online and
  93.   have just tagged 20-30 files and suddenly your mum arrives and you have
  94.   again forgotten the time because of those damn computers, now you just save
  95.   the tagfile and when she has left again, you load the tagged files again
  96.   and call the system and download the rest of the files.

  100.   Edit manually the entries on screen.

  104.   You can import a local directory with all the files.
  105.   This option could be useful when uploading, if you have a directory with a
  106.   lot of files you want to upload to a system, you might be asked to enter
  107.   the names first with the remote system checking if the file is already
  108.   present on the remote system.

  110.  ^hT Filelist^n
  111.  
  112.   You can tag directly from filelists. First you will be asked for the name
  113.   of the filelist. Then 'keyword or wildcard'. If you enter a normal DOS
  114.   wildcard filename like '*.ZIP' all lines will be searched for a .ZIP file,
  115.   but if you do not enter a wildcard each line in the filelist will be
  116.   searched for matches. So, if you enter VGA, all lines having the word 'VGA'
  117.   will be available. The limit is 250 matches. The list can be sorted
  118.   alphabetically if you like. You can now select from the found matches. Just
  119.   mark all the files you want with ^hSPACE^n or press ^h+^n for marking all files
  120.   found.  ^h-^n will unmark all and ^h*^n will toggle all tags. When pressing Esc
  121.   all files tagged will now be imported into the tag menu (if there is room
  122.   for them).
  123.   The tagged lines will also be saved in the download path (or inbound) in a
  124.   file called FILES.BBS so you have the descriptions. Thus, you will not need
  125.   the BBS to send you an extra file with the descriptions (if the system does
  126.   it anyway, just delete the file.)
  127.   With this option you will never need to spend much online time looking for
  128.   new files. If you have a high speed modem, just download the filelist,
  129.   search it manually and tag all the files off-line. Then dial the system
  130.   and use the tag menu to select the files.

  132.  ^hM Magic^n

  134.   Magic names is a commonly used term in fidonet and means the same as alias.
  135.   In this way, some systems have aliases for some special files that can be
  136.   requested from the system.

  140.   Call any external utility you like. Normally this should point to a utility
  141.   that could generate a TERMINAT.TAG file that could be imported here.

  160.   Request : ■ means that this file should be requested.

  164.   Download: Send name + Space/Return (ASCII #32/#13). Some systems allow you
  165.   to enter several filenames on the same line. Let's say you have 3 files you
  166.   want to download. First press space on the two first files and then press
  167.   return on the last file: 'FILE1.EXT FILE2.EXT FILE3.EXT'+return.
  168.   Just as if you typed the line yourself.

  170.   Request: When you edit an entry the ■ means: YES! request this file,
  171.   please. You can toggle this entry with the spacebar if you suddenly decide
  172.   you don't want the file anyway. Press return when you are finished tagging
  173.   files. If you do not want to request anyway just press Esc.

  175.  ^h+ All+13 - All+32 / +-* Toggle all^n

  177.   Download: Pressing ^h+^n will send all the filenames separated by a return
  178.   (#13). ^h-^n will do the same thing, but separated with a space (#32) instead.

  180.   Request: ^h+^n will select all files to be requested. ^h-^n will deselect all the
  181.   files and ^h*^n will toggle all files.
